Our story began while Christine and Kyle were planning their own wedding in 2017. This only made the progression of Basket Case natural by adding in event and wedding planning services to couples in the Galena, Illinois. While already working with some of the best vendors and venues in the are tri-state area, our portfolio of partners is the perfect pairing to engaged couples looking to have their wedding planning done for them to alleviate that feeling of being a Basket Case while engaged!

Christine Melaas is a certified wedding planner through the Wedding Planning Institute and former Sales and Event Coordinator for the Goldmoor Inn (Galena). Her experience planning weddings and events such as the Galena Holidaze Festival and Galena Country Fair assure you she has the knowledge, connections, and experience necessary to guide you in your wedding planning journey. Blissful Beginnings

Ideal for couples planning a multi-day experience including a welcome dinner, group
activity, and extra attention to guest experience.
Includes:
• Everything in Planning + Day-Of Coordination
• Welcome dinner coordination (setup, vendor communication, attendance)
• Booking or hosting 1 group activity (e.g. yoga, wine tasting)
• Delivery or placement of guest welcome gifts (does not include cost of gifts)
